WizardWorld’s Chicago Comic Con (running August 9-August 12, 2012) is one of the biggest Midwest Comicons. In past years, with competition from C2E2 in the spring, this seems to have dwindled. It had been 2 years since I had bee, but there was a much larger crowd, a bit better selection of “celebrities” (some are a pretty loose term), and much more accessible artists. The arrangement of the floor was quite different, a tad confusing and less flowing, but I also felt I walked around quite a bit more and found new stuff.
