BasementRejects has its first Summer of Laughs…but the joke is on you! Summer didn’t start until June 21 so most of these movies are really Spring of Laughs films! Despite this, the month went swimmingly with plenty of variety and different genres of comedy from the inane to the intelligent and from spoofs to original concepts. Mixed in with the laughs there was a week of Adam Sandler and a week of Jim Carrey. With such a wide swath, “laughs” can be anything to anyone.
