Every October the horror creeps. Whether it is for kids or adults, there is always fun and scares. For me October always kicked off the holidays as a kid because once the holiday ball started rolling, nothing could stop it. October leads to November and November leads to December…aka Christmas in kid definition. When the Wolfman and the Headless Horseman started stalking and the Great Pumpkin rolled around, I was always ready!
I guess that is why I always got so excited about Halloween rolling around…that and even without cable there was always a feast of horror movies that month on TV. Now, moves are always readily available and the good and bad exist, but as I’ve said, horror can be the best comedy if it is bad. This October, I brought you over 90 reviews of books, movies, TV, comics, and horror…fun but exhausting (also you can expect some stragglers after November 1).
Another October has come and gone…but we still have the memories. I’m already look forward to next year’s 31 Days of Horror (the 5th anniversary?!?!), but remember that you can always come to BasementRejects for tons of horror and fun!
