100-bullets-tvBrian Azzarello’s award winning DC Vertigo title 100 Bullets is coming to Showtime.  The DC series ran one hundred issues from August 1999 to April 2009 and involved a shadowy organization providing people with an untraceable gun and bullets to enact revenge on those who had wronged them.  The series won the 2002 Harvey Awards for Best Writer, Best Artist (also winning in 2004), and Best Continuing Series and Eisner Awards for Best Serialized Story in 2001 and Best Continuing Series in 2002 and 2004.  David Goyer is attached to write and produce the show.  Goyer is best known for his adaptations of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and the Blade series and is currently working on The Man of Steel (a reboot of Superman).
